Locating the Articles

bullet

Some  databases provide the articles in full text.

bullet

If it is not found in fulltext, some journal databases link the records to our library holdings or to our Journal Locator.
The Journal Locator enables you to search or browse for all journal titles available from the library, in print or electronic format.

It is available as a link from the records of the Ebsco databases (Academic and Business Search Premier), the Wilson databases (Social Sciences Index - Here they call it "WilsonLink") and in Proquest databases (Research Library).

Using the Journal Locator
within the databases, it will search for that particular article in fulltext in any of our other databases and indicate all the holdings and formats of the journal Collins Library has access to.
        Using the Journal Locator
from the gateway page, you would normally be searching by journal title or by subject.

bullet

Interlibrary Loan for Articles: Fill out the electronic form accessible from some databases. (FirstSearch, Ebsco, CSA, Proquest are all vendors that include links for ILL.)

bullet

Or order it through the Interlibrary Loan link in the left column of the Research Gateway page.

bullet

If our library has the title - in print, electronic or microform - your interlibrary loan request will be returned to you.

bullet

Article ILL takes about 3-5 business days.
